AT Burnham and Berrow Golf Club's AGM, Martin Wilkins was introduced as the new captain for 2013.
Martin received the traditional captains green jacket from outgoing captain, Geoff Robinson. Martin said his thanks to Geoff for the terrific job that he had done during 2012 and expressed his delight and honour at being chosen to be captain of a Golf Club with such a long and prestigious history.
He also said how much he was looking forward to his role. The chosen charity for the year is Weston Hospicecare and Martin, together with new ladies captain Mandy Vickers, will be organising a number of fund raising events during the new year.
