HUNTSPILL BPH claimed the bragging rights in their derby clash with a 3-2 win over Huntspill Crowns in the first round of the Dave Hobbs Cup.

Ash Massingham was the star of the show for BPH as his hat-trick helped seal the win. Mike Stevens and Chris May got Crowns' consolations.

Tiger Old Boys Reserves won 3-2 against Cobblestones thanks to two Ian Bellinger goals and one from Justin Lewis.

Brad Butler, Phil Court and Joe Cresswell all netted for Ramblers as they beat Willow Green 3-1, with Daniel Allen getting their only goal.

Highburn hit North Petherton for six in a 6-1 win with Adam Lock's hat-trick, two from Jack Smith and one for Rob Driver doing the damage.

In Division One league action, Tiger Old Boys closed the gap on the top two thanks to a 7-2 win over Middlezoy Amicus.

Braces from Ryan Weston and Carl Jones and one for Mark Fursland, Adam Jenkins and a Gary Head penalty sealed the win.

New Foresters were unable to add any points to their tally after Grasshoppers dealt them a 2-1 blow wih goals coming from John Doyle and Paul Hooper, Tom Neale grabbing Foresters consolation.
