Boxer Teaken Prior packs a punch

TEENAGER Teaken Prior is packing a punch in the ring after his latest fight against Cozzolino from Barton Hill ABC.

Prior, 15, from Bower Manor in Bridgwater, is coached by former professional Keith Roberts and has gone up in weight to fight Cozzolino.

The first round saw both boxers start furiously with good combinations to try and gain the upper hand and as the round finished Prior's accuracy and timing saw him finish on top.

The second round followed the same pattern with Prior countering with power and the third round saw a standing eight count after Prior dealt Cozzolino with a hard shot.

The referee stopped the bout in the third round after a barrage of constant shots from Prior and his coach said it was a great start to the season for the youngster.
