Bridgwater Under 16s netballers take on Wales

Bridgwater 30 Wales U15s 57 BRIDGWATER Under 16s started their regional campaign playing the Welsh national U15 squad.

The predominantly under 15 squad made a nerve settling start against the Welsh national team, scoring the opening goal and holding their own in the opening minutes however, the strength of the Welsh squad soon began to tell.

Despite a seven goal advantage to their opponents, Bridgwater matched them goal for goal in the second quarter and continued to battle throughout the game.

All squad members had the opportunity to take the court and to stake their claim to a place in the starting line-up before the next match against Saints from Cornwall on December 2.
