THERE was great expectation ahead of this cup game after Burnham's narrow 1-0 league victory against Portishead earlier in the season.
However, Burnham raised their game on the day in what turned out to be a one sided affair.
Burnham were out of the blocks early and carved out a number of early chances but found the Portishead goalie in good form.
Jefferies opened the scoring as most of United's chances were being created by good wing play from Kidner and Costello.
Two further goals came before half time from Rosser and a second for Jefferies and then it was one way traffic for the whole of the second half with Rosser scoring two further goals to complete his deserved hat-trick and round-off a 5-0 win.
