BERROW will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Somerset County League Premier Division when they travel to a plucky Minehead side on Saturday (November 10).

The table-toppers are currently two points clear of Cutters Friday after winning at Stockwood Green in their last outing, and face a tough trip to Minehead who are currently sixth in the table having only lost two games so far this season.

In Division One, Burnham United will be looking to erase the memory of a 5-2 drubbing at home to league leaders Yatton Athletic when they line up against Westfield this weekend.

Burnham will begin life without manager Ashley Plant (pictured) who left his post after the defeat to almost two weeks ago.

They currently sit 14th while their opponents this Saturday are third.

Burnham Reserves return to league action in Division Two West and will be hoping to close the gap on the top four when they entertain Weston St Johns Reserves.

Burnham have had a good start to the season, winning seven of their first 11 league games, while their opponents have lost seven of their opening batch.
