Kye Thomas out for the season after knee injury
KYE Thomas has been ruled out of action for the rest of the season after damaging his knee ligaments.
Left-back Thomas only featured for 25 minutes of Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Bognor Regis in the FA Trophy before he suffered what has proved to be a season-ending injury.
He faces an operation and is likely to be out for up to nine months.
THE Mercury also wishes to send its condolences to the family and friends of Bridgwater Town stalwart Brian Austin who passed away this week.
Brian provided the paper with reports from Town’s matches as well as being a contributor to the club’s matchday programme and many more duties.
