JOINT boss Kevin Milsom said he had to hold his hands up to the better team following their 3-0 defeat in the cup.

Bognor Regis Town play one tier higher in the footballing pyramid than Bridgwater and Milsom admitted that the two goals in five minutes killed the game off.

He said: “They were well drilled and had some really good young players but I thought we did alright until the first goal and we gave it a good go.

“If we could have scored then it would have been a different ball game - they were a quality side.”

Milsom said the main priority now is to climb up the league table and feels their current position does not reflect the team's performances so far this season.

He said: “We need to get away from where we are because we are better than that.

“We have been playing attractive football but maybe we need to look at playing more direct and focus on putting a few wins together.”

The next chapter of Bridgwater's league season kicks off tonight at Fairfax Park when they take on Bishops Cleeve who sit 18th, three points ahead of Town, kick-off is 7.45pm.

Well Millie - the only way you are going to do that - is to stop favouring the old Taunton players. You have already lost the best striker in the league. Benched too many times I guess. Listen to the supporters, they are confused with the team choices, even after you have stated changes to be made - nothing happens. Who is supposed to be the manager?
