How many cucumber sarnies does the vicar weigh?

VISITORS to the Bishops Court retirement living scheme in Chard helped boost funds at a Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning by taking part in an unusual competition.
As well as the usual stalls and refreshments they could guess how many cucumber sandwiches it would take to equal the weight of the vicar, the Rev Len Scholfield.
The answer was 1,120 sandwiches and the winning guess was close at 1,115. The morning raised £432.
