OFFICERS and instructors of Burnham Sea Cadets have been presented with Jubilee medals by the mayor.
Burnham and Highbridge Mayor Ken Smout attended a presentation evening where he presented cadets from Unit (TS Dulverton) with the accolades.
CPO Jeremy Fear, Lt (SCC) Bob Silverton, CPO Joanna Sidwell, Lt (SCC) Kim Silverton and CPO Dave Gordon were honoured to receive the prestigious medals.
During the presentation evening at the group’s headquarters in Cassis Close various sea cadets were also awarded advancement badges.
Unit Chairman Mike Jackson was presented with a Burgee to mark positive success in the Royal Naval inspection earlier in the year.
