Brewers Arms to boost funds for St Margaret's Somerset Hospice

FUNDS for St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice will be boosted with a three-day autumn fair at the Brewers Arms.
The event, from next Friday to Sunday (October 12-14) will feature a mini-autumn beer festival in the Courtyard Bar – and an inaugural world plum stone spitting contest in the beer garden on Friday from 7.30pm.
A cake and produce sale will be held from 9.30am on Saturday under the pub archway, with fun and games in the garden from 2.30pm and an Aunt Sally Pub Game competition from 4.30pm.
A welly walk treasure hunt will be held on Sunday from 2pm with a conker tournament from 3.30pm, produce auction at 5pm and harvest quiz at 8.30pm.
Refreshments will be available to help keep out the autumn chill.
