Seafoods staff "amazed" to win top award
A BURNHAM business is celebrating after being named Best Food Shop at last week's Somerset Life Food and Drink Awards.
Gaynor Wright, who runs Seafoods in High Street with her husband Steve, said: “We were really amazed to win and we would like to thank our loyal customers who voted for us.
“We also had a fantastic day on Saturday at the Burnham on Sea Food and Drink Festival.
“It was great to see so many people in the town and so many were interested in our shop.
“I cooked some fresh Cornish mackerel for people to taste throughout the day and Steve showed customers how to fillet fish.”
