TECHNOLOGY lovers will do anything to get their hands on the latest gadgets...

Dozens queued outside Taunton's O2 store this morning (September 21) for the eagerly-awaited release of the new iPhone 5 from Apple.

Some hardy folk had even waited since midnight just to make sure they didn't miss out on the sleek smart phone.

Stuart Beecham and Luke Trimmings travelled from Watchet and Minehead respectively.

They said: "We've been waiting here since 12am. We are dedicated Apple lovers."

The device, which is thinner and lighter than previous models and can use the newly-announced 4G network, costs up to £699.

Can use the new 4G network. Try using an iPhone in some parts of Somerset and it won't even use the Basic phone network.
