A TEAM of Bridgwater men are set to take on a 24-hour challenge in memory of one member's wife.
Alan Tait, Andy Farkas, Marc Selway, Giles Mason, Dave Godfrey, Iaine Selway and Eugene Martin will climb the Three Peaks in under 24 hours, helped by drivers Rob Anthony and Ivan Searle, to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Julie Selway, wife of team member Iaine, died two years ago aged just 35, and the group hope the challenge will spark some awareness about the charity.
The challenge is on July 6 and will see the group climb to the summits of Ben Nevis (1344m) in Scotland, Scafell Pike (978m) in the Lake District, England, and Snowdon (1085m) in Wales.
Local businesses MH Joinery, Western Fuel, DHL and Morrisons District Centre have donated food, drink and money supplies to the group for the trek.
