Shepton Beauchamp 10k run under starter's orders

PLANS are well under way for this year’s Shepton Beauchamp 10k cross country run on Sunday, September 9, at 11am.
The route will cover countryside and some rough terrain, and pass through the beautiful grounds at Barrington Court.
The race will start and finish at the Recreation Field in Brimgrove Lane, Shepton Beauchamp.
Car parking and changing facilities will be available and runners will register there.
The first male and female finishers will win trophies and there will be awards for the first Shepton runners home.
Entry forms are available at sheptonbeauchamp.org.uk or from Jo Walshe at Shepton Stores in the village.
Entry is £7. Runners must be 17 or over to take part in the 10k. A shorter fun run will be on offer for younger runners and the less adventurous.
