Sunday: Driver escapes after car overturns in Bridgwater

A CAR driver escaped serious injury after a vehicle overturned in Bridgwater on Sunday morning (April 22).

The incident happened in Dunwear Lane shortly after 8am when the vehicle ended up on its roof in a ditch.

A fire service spokesman said the driver managed to get free of the car and was treated by paramedics.
