CHAMPION boxer Pawel Augustynik was judged a Winner at the Pride of Somerset Youth Awards.
The 16-year-old from Taunton started boxing with Taunton Amateur Boxing Club two years ago and since then he has won 16 of 19 junior contests.
In 2011 he became Western Counties middle weight champion and went on to compete against the Eastern and Southern Counties at the Junior ABA National Championship Finals where he claimed the junior title for his weight class.
He was then invited to compete for England in the Three Nations Championships where he won gold.
He is now training at an amateur gym in Bristol where he can train with professionals.
