Fire service in Minehead forging links with community
PEOPLE will have the chance to decide on which groups in Minehead should benefit from fire service funding at a special event on Monday.
The Participatory Budgeting pilot scheme evening will take place at the Minehead EYE from 7pm, with groups from a variety of backgrounds bid for a share of £5,000 and the public voting for the winners.
Chris Jones said: “This is the foundation of working closely within the very communities we serve, aiming to reduce road-related incidents.”
