South Petherton firm takes on staff

PROBIOTICS International Ltd in South Petherton has reported increased trade and taken on 11 extra staff since November.

It acquired Birmingham-based The Healthy Bowels company last year and has seen increased demand for products in the UK and abroad.

Probiotics, based at Lopenhead, now employs more than 70 people from the surrounding area.
