A FATHER who was stabbed in the throat returned home from hospital this week and revealed how a DONER KEBAB saved his life.
The Weekly News has reported how James Hobbs, aged 37, was attacked in Charlotte Court, Highbridge, on January 15 and suffered a deep horizontal cut to the throat, narrowly missing his vocal chords.
He had been watching a football match before deciding to buy a kebab when the horror unfolded.
James told how he then used the £3.40 greasy, late-night snack to stem the flow of blood.
