FOOD lovers can find out how to make their very own cob oven at a two-day course at the Magdalen Project, Winsham, this weekend.
Tutor Tilda Western will work with participants to demonstrate how to build an oven from start to finish, including how to select a site, build the foundations, mix cob and mould an oven out of earth, sand and straw.
The weekend will finish by giving the group an opportunity to fire up and cook in one of the farms existing ovens and share a stone-baked feast.
The course runs from 10am to 3.30pm on Saturday and Sunday and costs £125 – for more details contact Lisa Herbert on 01460-30144 or e-mail lisa@themagdalenproject.org.uk
