PUPILS at Manor Court have been getting a taste for Fair Trade after a four-week project to understand why the scheme matters so much.
Youngsters from years four, five and six used websites to learn about Fair Trade and how it benefits farmers in the third world.
A popular activity was sampling some of the produce – including cooking chocolate bananas.
The classes also visited local supermarkets to count how many Fair Trade products were on the shelves and distributed quizzes around the school to raise Fair Trade Awareness.
