HEARD the buzz about Berrow beach?
A swarm of bees created holiday havoc for tourists at the popular sands on Saturday.
The bees took over a small section of beach - pitching up camp on a beach umbrella.
The swarm sent tourists scattering, but luckily there was no sting in the tail as no one was hurt before a beekeeping expert arrived to take away the insects.
Michael Duckett, from Burnham and District Beekeepers, told the Weekly News: “It was one swarm of bees that pitched on top of a sun umbrella.
“I caught them and took them away. They are now at home in a hive in Burnham.”
