MORE than 40 food and safety enforcement officers from across Somerset attended a partnership day hosted by Sedgemoor District Council.
During the conference, the environmental health officers heard presentations on asbestos, legionella, noise at work and new noise regulations and upper limb disorders.
Organised by the Somerset Health and Safety Liaison Group, the event also showcased various work carried out by officers during the year, such as inspections of nail bars through to Christmas retail inspections.
