A CONCERT took place last weekend and it was a huge success.
WorleWind Band performed at Holy Trinity Church in Bridgwater on June 15. The varied programme included a whole host of well-known tunes. There was also some exciting choreography and atmospheric stage lighting.
The entertaining programme included Moon River, Rock around the Clock plus many more well-loved tunes.
Musical Director, Julia Ractliffe, said: “We were delighted with the warm reception from the enthusiastic audience who clapped and cheered their way through the concert. They also awarded us a standing ovation at the end of the evening.”
The band are now embarking on a busy summer season with concerts in Weston-super-Mare, Weymouth and Wareham.
They will be back in the area on September 14 2019 for a lively concert in Edington village hall. Tickets will be available soon via their website. Visit www.worlewindband.co.uk or call 01934 517719.
