BRIDGWATER mum Michelle Lewis was smiling with pride in 1999 - after her stepdaughter and a friend saved her life!
Michelle, 24, had a hypoglycaemic attack and blacked out at the town's Splash pool during the dramatic incident.
She was saved after her eight-year-old stepdaughter Kayley and friend Jenna Howarth, nine, stepped in and ensured she got the necessary glucose by feeding her pieces of chocolate.
However, the family was left frustrated at a lack of response form the pool after the incident and lodged a formal complaint.
Sedgemoor District Council was investigating the incident to discover the full circumstances surrounding the treatment they received.
