AN Ilminster man accused of being in possession of drugs on Christmas day has had the case against him adjourned.
Luke Rogers, 23, of Boxstone Hill, Hurcott, was due to appear in the dock before Somerset Magistrates at Yeovil.
He is charged that on December 25 at Bridgwater police station he was found in possession of a quantity of cannabis (class B).
The defendant did not attend the scheduled hearing but the magistrates agreed to adjourn the matter until February 5 when he must attend the court or a warrant could be issued for his arrest.
Until then his unconditional bail was extended.
