A BRIDGWATER man who allegedly assaulted a woman in Glastonbury town centre has been ordered to attend court for a trial date to be fixed.
Camael King, 25, of Greinton, is charged with assaulting the complainant by beating her during an incident in the town’s High Street.
The defendant did not attend a scheduled hearing before Somerset Magistrates, but the case was adjourned until February 26.
On that occasion a case management hearing will be conducted and a trial date is expected to be fixed.
