DRAMATIC new drone footage shows Europe’s biggest building site - where a new nuclear power plant is being constructed by 3,000 workers every day.
Hinkley Point C will be the most expensive man-made object on Earth when it is finished.
The EDF Energy site will generate enough electricity for 5.8 million homes and is costing £19.6 billion to build.
A roadway is being installed for a 500m long jetty on the site in Somerset and when it is complete, the building materials will be delivered to the site by sea.
Hinkley Point C has been described as “the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK” and is due to be complete in 2025.
