YOUNGSTERS at a Somerset school got an insight into the stars during a visit from legendary astronomer, Sir Patrick Moore.
The TV stargazer was at North Newton School in October 1987 ahead of a celebrity lecture on space research at the BCL Sports and Social Club.
The event was organised by the Bridgwater Round Table in aid of the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Appeal and the Cystic Fybrosis Research Trust.
Were you one of the lucky youngsters who got to meet the star?
