A VEHICLE sustained minor damage after a fire in Minehead.
Firefighters were called to Trinity Way in Minehead at 10.36pm yesterday (September 4) after reports of a vehicle fire.
One appliance from Minehead attended the incident.
On arrival crews confirmed there was a small fire under a car bonnet.
Crews got to work using one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus, together with small tools to disconnect the battery.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental due to an engine fault.
The fire was confined to the engine bay, the engine bay was 10 per cent fire damaged as a result of the fire.
