A 15-year-old girl who has previously gone missing in Ilminster is being sought by police.

Cindy Worthington, 15, was reported missing from the Beoley area of Redditch around 9pm Monday (August 14) and officers are concerned for her welfare.

West Mercia Police in Redditch are appealing to the public for help to locate her.

She is described as 5'8" tall with dark, shoulder-length hair and wearing black leggings, a white crop top, grey hooded top and glasses when she was last seen.

Detective Sergeant Tim Macrae said: "We're extremely concerned for Cindy's welfare and would urge anyone who has seen her or knows of her whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency.

"We believe there is a good chance she has left the area. She has been known to travel widely and has connections at a number of places around the country.

"We're keen for this appeal to be shared as far and wide as possible."

Anybody who has seen Cindy or anyone who may have information about her whereabouts is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101.
