THEY'RE normally known for their quiet and reserved disposition.
But a family of deer has cast aside its inhibitions to get a closer look at new homes being built in Taunton.
Staff at David Wilson Homes’ Northwalls Grange 88-homes development say the animals have become regular visitors in recent weeks.
They come so close that staff are even able to stroke them.
And photographer Benjamin Dunford caught one up and close moment when he happened to be passing during one of their visits.
Trainee assistant site manager Nick Jones said: “It was a bit of a surprise the first time they turned up. They’re so tame.
"Now the whole team looks forward to them showing up. It really brightens our day.”
Sales director Louise Ware said: “At Northwalls Grange we welcome all visitors – be they potential homebuyers or our four-legged neighbours.
"With significant progress being made on the construction of our new homes, there’ll be something new for the deer to see each time they return.”
