ARRESTED: Fore Street in Bridgwater
A MAN in possession of a knife was arrested in Bridgwater after a stop and search.
A 22-year-old was stopped by Avon and Somerset Police officers on Fore Street around 5.30pm yesterday (April 20) under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
The man produced a knife and ran from the officers.
He was caught and arrested for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He remains in police custody.
