DO you have any information about a serious assault which took place in Albert Street, Bridgwater last month?

Following a serious assault in Bridgwater last month, police are renewing their appeal for information.

At approximately 11.30am on February 15, a 36-year-old man was seriously assaulted on Albert Street.

The man was taken to hospital with serious chest and back injuries. He is now recovering and out of hospital.

As a result of police enquiries, a man has been charged in connection with this assault.

DI Angela Burtonwood said: “Just over a month has passed since this serious incident which left a man hospitalised.

“We still want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information regarding those involved.

“Any information, regardless of how insignificant you think it might be, could prove crucial to our investigation.”
