ORGANISERS of the Isleport Steam and Vintage Working show were pleased after huge crowds turned out to the event.
The organisers paid out more than £4,000 to various charities across Somerset.
Mike Lawrence, organiser of the show said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our exhibitors and helpers and the general public that have supported us over the past 4 years.
"Last year, 2016 the weather was fantastic, we had a record crowd on both days and I think everybody thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.
"We so often hear of events being put on for various charities and I think it is important that everyone supports these events should know how the monies are distributed and the profit from our show last year.
"£1,000 was given to the Children's Hospice at wraxall near Bristol, £1,200 to McMillan nurses, £1,000 to Weston Hospice and £1,000 to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Service."
Mike added that due to the popularity of last year's show organisers will be putting on another show on July 29 and July 30.
