A COLD and frosty morning is set to give way to a cool but sunny afternoon across Somerset.
In their south west summary, Met Office said: "It will be a cold and bright start with patchy frost and ice, especially on untreated surfaces.
"However, most will be fine and cold with sunny spells and much lighter winds, although it will cloud over in the west later."
The maximum temperature is set to reach around 9C, before falling to a minimum of 6C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "Saturday will start dry, but many will turn wet and windy through the afternoon with some heavy rain across western upslopes. Despite this, it will be mild."
The temperature is set to peak at 12C.
