WITH all the current talk of increased business rates isn’t it time that national charities, especially those whose executives are paid a fortune, are made to pay rates on their high street shops?
They already receive many millions of pounds from our taxes, through gift aid and in many cases, from government foreign aid.
Enough. And don’t worry about the squealing liberals who will no doubt immediately march and scream.
