TWO students from each year have been selected to join a new “Student Senate” to voice ideas, opinions and recommendations to improve school life at Haygrove School.
The students will have badges to wear on their blazers and feedback from the group will be given to headteacher Mrs Canham.
“The aim of this student group is to encourage the involvement of all our young people in helping to improve our school” said Mrs Canham.
Talking about why she wanted to be part of the Student Senate, Maisey Pope from Year 7 said: “I wanted to show that I could be a good leader for my year group and speak up on their behalf. I want to help to make things better for us.”
