A LORRY crashed and got stuck on a bridge on the A358 near Bishop's Lydeard.
The incident happened at 9.30am this morning on the A358 in Combe Florey, near to the Watts Lane junction.
The road was closed in both directions following the crash, as the lorry was lodged from the bridge and it needed space to be removed.

The road has now been reopened.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called to the scene at 9.30am after a vehicle got stuck under a bridge.

"Engineers inspected the bridge for any damage, but it was deemed only superficial damage had been caused.
"The road was reopened at about 10.55am."
