ROLL up, roll up - Gerry Cottle is back in Taunton with his sensational Wow Circus.
His high-energy family show features a new generation of vibrant young performers against an infectious, non-stop rock and pop soundtrack.
At an age when most pensioners are thinking of taking it easy, 70-year-old Gerry Cottle is still putting up big tops and still dreaming of a life in the sawdust ring.
He said: "I've been coming to the South West from the first year I ran away to join a circus over 55 years ago, through the swinging 60s, the glam rock 70s, exuberant 80s, the noughties and right into the 21st Century.
"I am proud to have created a show that takes you through all these fantastic eras."
The show boasts an awe-inspiring line-up of the world’s greatest acts in circus, comedy and magic for live entertainment to thrill and astonish all ages.
Gerry Cottle's circus is in Taunton at Moorlands Field from this evening (Wednesday, September 28) until Sunday (October 2), with weekday performances at 5pm and 7.30pm, Saturday at 2pm and 5pm and Sunday at 5pm.
