CHARD Children’s Carnival will be held on Saturday, October 3, with judging at 10.45am, and the procession at noon.
Classes include: Single entry up to five years old; Single entry six to 16 years old; Pairs up to 16 years old; Groups (three and above in number); Wheeled entries including bikes, pushchairs and wheelchairs; Federation Class (walking); Federation Class (motorised).
The first four classes must NOT include any wheels, no animals are to participate and all children take part at their own risk.
If entering more than two South Somerset Federation Carnivals, participants must enter the Federation Classes. First place winners will receive a cup, which can be held for a year, and there will be other cups that can be won.
The assembly point is Manor Court School, Chard. All entries to be present by 10.30am at the latest. Please return all forms to Barron’s in Holyrood Street, Chard.
