WORK is progressing on a new Lidl store in Taunton.
The main structure is already up on the site of the former Taunton Youth and Community Centre, a short distance from the Tesco store, on Wellington Road.
Once completed, the Lidl riverside store in Wood Street will close and be demolished to make way for retirement flats.
Lidl has another store in the town on Roman Road.
