FUN play sessions ranging from woodland crafts to hunts are being run in Taunton’s French Weir Park for children and teenagers.

The activities, organised by Friends of French Weir and funded from a kitty by Cllr Justine Baker, continue on Wednesday, August 12, Thursday, August 27, and Tuesday, September 1, from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm.

Mrs Baker said: “Last year I created the sessions as there is a real gap for free things to do in the summer school holidays.”

The sessions are being run by Louise Kennedy, of the Woodland Play Centre.
