POLICE are appealing for information after thieves stole two moto-cross bikes from a garage in Puriton.
The burglary happened during the early hours of Tuesday, April 14 at Downend Road.
The thieves forced their way into the victim’s garage and removed the high value motorbikes with a combined value of £11,000.
The offenders then wheeled the bikes across farmland at the rear of the premises and back out onto Downend Road.
Police are would like to hear from anyone who might have heard or seen anybody, or any vehicles acting suspiciously, in the area between midnight and 7am.
The would also like to hear from anyone involved in motocross sport who might have been offered the bikes or parts for sale.
The motorbikes are a Kawasaki KXF250 (green body work and mudguards); and a KTM SX150 (orange body work and mudguards) as shown in the pictures.
