THE success of the first ever County Workplace Games has encouraged organisers to make it an annual event.

The competition at Taunton Vale Sports Club on Friday was the culmination of Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership’s Workplace Challenge in February and March, which involved over 1,100 people taking part in activity and pedometer challenges.

Somerset County Cricket Board won the seven-a-side football, beating Branstons of Ilminster.
