Firefighters tackle chimney blaze in Stoke St Gregory
FIREFIGHTERS from Taunton were called to battle a blaze in Stoke St Gregory this evening (Saturday).
The fire service responded to reports of a chimney fire at Meare Green at 8:55pm.
On arrival, crews confirmed one chimney on fire within property and used chimney gear, 135 ladder, safety at height equipment, and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews also used a thermal imaging camera to check for further hot spots within the property
