MIND in Sedgemoor has launched its new Growing Health initiative to give people the opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing through a range activities.
The charity says the project had a successful launch last week at its centre in Rhode Lane in Bridgwater with a good number attending.
Heather Colman, co-manager of Mind in Sedgemoor, said: “It was very positive.
“We now need to keep the momentum going and push for the project to be used by local people who are looking for support.
“We aim to offer a holistic approach to mental health issues and social isolation, so Growing Health includes everything from having a coffee and a chat at one of our coffee afternoons to spending some time at the allotment, being involved with nature and watching things grow.”
