HUNDREDS of people gathered in the heart of Wellington for the annual Christmas lights switch-on.
The build-up to the big switch-on featured a performance by Wellington Majorettes, a mini drama performed by pupils of St John’s Primary School, and award-winning singers Charles Dyke and Christina Green.
Jake Bowden and Lauren Cornforth-Smith, competition winners from Wellesley Park School, assisted with the main switch-on.
