OLDER residents across Sedgemoor are invited to a talk on Preparing for Winter.
The talks is this Thursday 2 October at 2pm at the Wembdon Parish Meeting Rooms, Wembdon and is being organised by Bluebird Care Sedgemoor and West Somerset.
Zallah Marsh, care manager , said: ‘We feel strongly that we should engage at all levels of our local community, we are delivering helpful talks to people in later life on subjects such as ‘preparing for winter’ and ‘what to expect from your home care provider’. "We also deliver talks to students at local colleges about employability in the health and social care sector – as a company we feel we have knowledge and expertise that should be shared in our local community for the benefit of that community"
